My Therapeutic Style
Come as you are, and I promise to do the same. I bring radical genuineness to each therapy session and the people I work with tend to appreciate this authentic approach. My eclectic approach to therapy combines elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, CBT, mindfulness practices, and is heavily strengths-based. My experience working in a wide range of clinical settings including group DBT practice, private practice, home hospice, and school social work has undoubtedly shaped my therapeutic style.
I especially enjoy supporting Millennial and Gen Z individuals coping with significant life transitions. During times of great change, it makes sense why you may be more likely to face challenges such as anxiety, depression, or perhaps relationship issues. I believe that therapy can be a meaningful experience capable of challenging the client’s outlook, as well as that of the therapist.
Depending on where you're at in life, sometimes you may benefit from a more structured approach and at other times you simply need someone to listen. I am committed to offering you the respect and care you deserve while holding space when things become difficult or painful.
